Chavalos de Aqui y de Alla

(2021) Commissioned to create a flyer for Chavalos de Aqui y de Alla’s first performance of 2021. Chavalos de Aqui y de Alla is a Nicaraguan cultural organization that spent the majority of 2020 providing support for Mission Meals, a mutual aid coalition in the Mission District of San Francisco connecting food resources to food insecure community members. I was tasked in creating an illustration depicting the relationship between Chavalos and Mission Meals, and their collaborative communal work during the pandemic that is rooted in culture and food.
